Measurement records
A measurement record ties a public result to a named artifact, configuration and method - narrower than a product claim, more reproducible than prose.
Required record fields
- record ID, title, date and owner;
- question or claim being evaluated;
- source/RTL/product revision and cryptographic identifiers;
- target, board, FPGA or host configuration;
- tool versions, flags and parameters;
- workload, test inventory and run count;
- measurement method, clock basis and uncertainty;
- trace-validity or data-quality result;
- raw and processed result artifacts;
- deviations, limitations and transfer limits; and
- reviewer and approval state.
How website claims use records
A public number links to the record that supports it. If several records support a broader claim, the page states the range of configurations covered. Results without a reviewable record are identified as internal measurements in a dated status note on the page that carries them, or are not used as product proof.
The record index
One record is published: the
SQLite -O3 comparison of native trace, CEDARtools.Anchor and GCC coverage,
including its machine-readable dataset downloads. Further records are added as
their internal measurement trails are prepared for publication. Until then,
other figures on this site that rest on internal measurements are identified
as such in a dated status note on the page that carries them.
